It’s Complicated

In the film an interesting story with the title. The whole filming process, he stayed Untitled Nancy Meyers Project, in June, it was renamed into Something Good, but there was too obvious similarities with Something’s Gotta Give, so he recently found its final name of It’s Complicated. It is in line with Smth’s Gotta Give. And do not forget that for him at the time Diane Keaton nominated for an Oscar. «Police, Adjective» – this absurdist tragi-comedy in the spirit of Jim Jarmusch, filmed by the Romanian director Corneliu Porumboyyu. A film about the moral dilemma faced by the police Christie, who works in the department of drug small provincial town. He tracked down the teenager, who sells marijuana to their classmates. The boy must respond to the full extent of the law, but a matter of dealing with student Christie sorry suspect – if the dealer gets juvenile prison, his life can put a cross. Conscientious police officer violates the order and tries to find clues in order to make the arrest. If you find at least some mitigating circumstances, the entire course of the investigation will be to turn the other way, to save the young offender from prison. But police chiefs have a different opinion.

Eastern Europe is very close to Russia. And although they say the movie is not in Russian, but the whole picture is like ours, dear, post-Soviet. And the manners and life of the local police are very similar to ours. The film is worth seeing just to compare and find similarities and differences. Also – a simple and touching movie about people. In 1994, James Cameron wrote a 80-page script for the film “Avatar”. In the script of the film “Avatar”, written by James Cameron, a paralyzed man, through the technology of the future, allowing connection of the human mind to the body specially created hybrid human and alien, is embodied in one of these bodies and participating in research expeditions to the planet Pandora. [8] It thanks to this film’s idea and got its name – “Avatar”.

Plot Summary:
Audience Award Winner at Fantastic Fest 2009 and the first stop-motion animated feature selected to Cannes, “A Town Called Panic” follows the wacky, hilarious and often surreal adventures of three plastic toys named Cowboy, Indian and Horse who share a rambling house in a rural town which never fails to attract the weirdest events. Plot Summary:
In the latest comedy from Broken Lizard (the creators of “Super Troopers” and “Beerfest”), “Slammin” Cleon Salmon (Michael Clarke Duncan) is a former Heavyweight Champion of the World turned celebrity owner of a high end Miami seafood restaurant, The Slammin’ Salmon.

A terrifying bull of a man, Salmon uses fear to rule over his misfit waitstaff (Broken Lizard’s Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, as well as Cobie Smulders and April Bowlby) and on this particular night, he takes his bullying skills to a new level. In an effort to pay off a gambling debt to the Japanese Yakuza, Salmon sets up a contest to ‘inspire’ his waitstaff to sell more food than they ever have before: the top selling server wins $10,000 while the waiter in last place gets served with a broken rib sandwich—courtesy of the Champ himself.

Spurred on by greed and panic, the staff resort to backstabbing, bribery and indecent proposals in an attempt to upsell their patrons while simultaneously sabotaging their co-workers. As the hours pass, the dining room action becomes more frenzied as the contest escalates into a brawl for first place in order to win the money.

Plot Summary:
Based on a harrowing true story centered around policeman Hank (Willem Dafoe), who is called to a bungalow in a respectable San Diego neighborhood where a man named Brad (Michael Shannon) has barricaded himself in his house and taken two hostages. Across the street, Brad’s mother (Grace Zabriskie) lies dead, found sprawled in a pool of blood, the victim of a sword wound. The son is suspected of the murder. As Hank uneasily prowls the sunlit street outside the bungalow, a string of Brad’s friends arrive on the scene, among them his girlfriend and a director pal. Slowly the bizarre pieces of the story are placed in front of the cop, who tries to make sense of it all. Not only has the suspected murderer never been the same since he returned from a kayaking trip to Peru, but he also seems to be suffering from a strange mother complex. To deepen the psychosis even further, Brad has been rehearsing one of Sophocles’ plays that has a lot to do with mothers!
